September 29, 2009Henry Ford Health System teams up with Wayne State University
Wayne State University and Henry Ford Health System announced Tuesday they have started extensive discussions toward forming a partnership between the nation's largest medical school campus and the seven-hospital network. The talks are taking place over the next 90 days, with the aim of implementing an agreement by mid-2010. The collaboration would be in the areas of medical education, research and clinical services. Wayne State University President Jay Noren and WSU School of Medicine Interim Dean Valerie Parisi comment in some of the stories. The Detroit Free Press and Detroit News ran extended versions of their earlier stories.
