During a segment of “Langton Briefs,” hosted by WWJ reporter Charlie Langton, Wayne State University professor Jose Cuello commented about student diversity and retention and the efforts of the Center for Latino/a and Latin American Studies (CLLAS) to assist and motivate students. Cuello said the key to success and retention for students is motivation. Langton noted that CLLAS has a retention rate of about 90 percent.
