Juanita Cochran had 25 points and 16 rebounds as Wayne State defeated Wisconsin-Parkside, 70-60, in the second round of the NCAA tournament in Ashland, Ohio. Talisha Bridges added 19 points for the Warriors (22-8) and Imari Redfield added 10 points off the bench. The Warriors will play Ashland at 7 p.m. Monday in Ashland.
