November 13, 2012Wayne State research on infant massage highlighted in ABC news reports
Research from Wayne State University shows preemies who were massaged three times a day over five days made more effective immune cells, than those who weren't massaged. They also gained a bit more weight. However, researchers aren't sure if the babies who were massaged will be healthier down the road since they had about the same number of infections as those who weren't massaged.
